"The inspiration to create this vase was the iconic work of Piet Mondrian. The legacy he left is immortal. His works are used in a variety of design industries, which indicates the excellence and timelessness of the abstractions he painted. Along with Cézanne, Mondrian puts an emphasis on each individual area in the image, thus each work achieves the same weight. The idea of water as an element and the basis of material existence was always an inspiration to him. So that’s why I decided that the vase will have to be perfect, to be the bearer of his legacy.
